At the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers on 24 and 25 May, spectators can look forward to spectacular fights, fascinating cars and dozens of contenders for victory. Almost 20 cars are expected to be represented in the class of GT3 cars capable of winning. In total, the organisers are expecting a starting field of over 100 participants: the best conditions for an exciting and high-quality motorsport weekend. After all, the two races on Saturday and Sunday are not just about scoring important championship points for the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). The weekend is also the last testing and qualifying opportunity for the season highlight at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring (19th – 22nd June 2025). Reason enough for participants and fans not to miss out on the weekend. Tickets are available from just 25 euros (day tickets Saturday / Sunday).

Three rounds of the NLS are already behind the endurance heroes of the Nürburgring, and now the battle for the most important trophy of the season is fast approaching. So far, the Porsche teams have emerged as the main contenders for victory, as 911 teams have claimed victory in all previous rounds. After Falken Motorsports won the first two rounds, it was Thomas Preining and Ayhancan Güven in the ‘Grello’ who triumphed in the third NLS round. The bright yellow 911 of the traditional Manthey Racing team will also be among the top candidates for victory in the 24h Qualifiers, even if the cockpit crew changes for the 24h Prologue: ‘For me and Ayhancan, it was the last race before the 24h Nürburgring, and it’s obviously nice that we were able to finish it with a victory,’ said Preining after the race and also made an announcement for the 24h: ‘Of course we want to win. It would be the eighth victory for the successful team, which would once again take over the sole lead in the eternal statistics of the most successful teams at the 24h. Team-mate Güven was also confident after the NLS race: ‘I feel very well prepared. Now we have some time to analyse and make sure that we are completely ready for the race that we have been working towards all this time.’ However, the 24-hour victory mission is unlikely to be a walkover, as the balance of power on the Nordschleife is far too even for that. In NLS3, four different makes were on the first two rows of the grid, and in the GT3 class – despite four outstanding Porsche 911s in the first four places – five brands were among the top eight at the end of the race.

Excitement and brand diversity in the qualifiers
Before the 24h, there is really only one hard currency for the teams aiming for victory: collecting test kilometres! The top class of GT3 cars was correspondingly well-filled at the previous rounds of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), and it will be no different at the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers on 24 and 25 May. Spectators can expect not only a top-class weekend in terms of sport, but also a very colourful event: The favourites are the seven Porsche 911 GT3s, six of which are entered by the teams. The two GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3s, for example, will be in pursuit. The team will certainly be looking to improve on second place in NLS3 to one or even two victories in the qualifiers. The Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo 2 of the 24-hour title defenders from Scherer Sport PHX will receive support from brand colleagues at Juta Racing, équipe vitesse and the Eastalent Racing Team. Aston Martin is represented by Walkenhorst Motorsport and PROsport Racing. Lamborghini (Abt) and Ferrari (Realize Kondo Racing) will also be in the mix.

Top-class sport is guaranteed
There will be plenty of sporting excitement at the 24h Qualifiers from the very first minute. The qualifying sessions (Saturday from 10:00 a.m., Sunday from 8:15 a.m.) and the top qualifying session (Sunday, 10:30 a.m.), which is only scheduled for Sunday’s race, are all about valuable starting positions in the individual time trials at the 24h. Up to four grid positions will be contested here, and up to three in each of the two races. The four-hour races also offer the last opportunity before the 24h at the end of June to collect competitive kilometres on the longest and most beautiful race track in the world. Saturday’s race starts at 5.30 p.m. and runs into the twilight, offering the opportunity to prepare for the evening conditions on the track. On Sunday, the second race starts at 13:00.
Many teams in the well-staffed 18 classes will also use this opportunity to prepare. This is not least about the NLS classification. Before the 24h Qualifiers, Arne Hoffmeister and Tim Scheerbarth (Mühlner Motorsport) lead the field after three victories in the Cup2 category. Their closest rivals are currently the Adrenalin BMW M240i of Markert / Wambach in the M240i Cup class and the FK Performance BMW M4 GT4 of Mijatovic / Wüstenhagen / Wahl in the SP8T. Other classes will also be exciting, such as the VT2 Front/4WD, where there have been victories for Hyundai, Audi and VW in the three races so far.

Two action-packed days at the Nürburgring
Action and excitement are not only pre-programmed for the two races of the 24h Qualifiers. The programme on the race track will also be supplemented by an RCN performance test, which will provide three and a half thrilling hours around the Nordschleife from 13:00 on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday and Sunday, the Mercedes-AMG Arena will also belong to the motorsport enthusiasts, who will hold two slalom competitions there. The helipad in the paddock will also be home to the youngest motorsport drivers, who will be competing in eKart slaloms over the weekend.
