The ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring will transform the region around the traditional circuit into a party zone this week. The forests around the Ring have been open for camping since Monday (16 June) and by the time the first wheels turn on Corpus Christi (Thursday, 19 June), tens of thousands will have set up camp there to create a legendary festival atmosphere. After the qualifying days on Thursday and Friday, it’s time for the 141 participants to clear the ring on Saturday (21 June) from 16:00! Then the exciting question is whether the favoured Porsche 911 GT3 R will actually prevail or another of the eight brands represented in the top class. If you want to experience this spectacular battle live on the Ring, you can secure your ticket online at any time during the event. For the first time, the 24h will offer the opportunity to save your ticket on your mobile device, so that it is no longer necessary to go to the box offices, which will be open on all days of the event.
The battle for the 53rd overall victory at the season highlight on the Nordschleife will be more intense this year than it has been for a long time: the largest field of entrants since 2019 is divided into a total of 20 classes. Around 450 drivers from 34 nations will be taking on the toughest test on the world’s longest race track. Among them are 27 GT3 cars, which will probably decide the winner among themselves. The size of the leading group alone shows that it is likely to be a tough battle, and the top teams are all competing with excellent driver line-ups.

Everyone is chasing the Porsches
After a series of victories in all the preparatory races as part of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) and the 24h Qualifiers, the Porsche teams are regarded as favourites. Falken Motorsports, Manthey EMA and Scherer PHX took these victories and now find themselves in the role of the hunted. Some of the hunters come from their own stable – in the form of last year’s victorious Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II from Scherer PHX. Other top teams are relying on other brands: BMW (Rowe), Mercedes-AMG (GetSpeed), Aston Martin (Walkenhorst), Ford (HRT), Realize Kondo (Ferrari) and Abt (Lamborghini) are the spearheads, with other teams just lurking for their chance at overall victory.

The 24-hour weekend promises plenty of motorsport entertainment
There is also plenty of motorsport excitement at the 24h Nürburgring, because in addition to the battle for overall victory, winners’ trophies are up for grabs in 19 other, often fiercely contested classes. The sporting supporting programme also promises exciting entertainment. The traditional performance test of the Rundstrecken Challenge Nürburgring (RCN) opens the action on Thursday morning. The racing cars of the Touring Car Legends and the Cup and Touring Car Trophy will offer a total of five rounds of racing action from Thursday to Saturday. Another absolute highlight will be the ADAC 24h Classic race, where the starting field is fully booked with the maximum possible number of 210 historic vehicles.

Full programme – also off the track
The gigantic fan programme will also ensure that the expected 200,000 visitors are entertained. On Wednesday (15 June), the Adenauer Racing Day will kick off the weekend from 16:00. Autograph sessions, a parade of racing cars, driver interviews and much more await in the racing town on the Ring. From Thursday, the fan mile on the ring°boulevard and the many offers around the RAVENOL Ferris wheel in the paddock will open. On Friday evening, the Falken Drift Show in the Müllenbachschleife and the big 24-hour autograph session with the opportunity for a pit and track walk at the start/finish line are on the programme from 19:30. Many other fan offers can be discovered at the visitors’ schedule:

Even more service: ticket procedure simplified, WhatsApp channel for visitors
The 24h Nürburgring is one of the biggest motorsport events in Germany – 240,000 fans flocked to the Eifel last weekend. To give them an even better experience, the organisers have further improved the fan service. A new WhatsApp channel provides information on car park and campsite capacity utilisation as well as important visitor news as soon as you arrive. Also important to know: On site, all tickets purchased in advance will be exchanged for a visitor wristband at all entrances. A diversion via the box offices is therefore no longer necessary and saves annoying queues.
