24h regulations online – Entries now open

The ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring is still a good four months away. But the starting signal for a continuation of the legendary 24h story has now been given: The supplementary regulations for the 24h Nürburgring (19 – 22 June 2025) and also for the prologue at the 24h Qualifiers (24 – 25 May 2025) are now available. With the publication of the central rulebooks for the Nordschleife highlight, the run for the entry list has begun. Traditionally, the entry portal for the 24h Nürburgring opens at the same time. It can be found on the participant portal:

The most important framework data for the summit meeting of GT3 aces, endurance enthusiasts and Nordschleife addicts remain stable: As in the past, the race is open to production cars, 24h Specials and defined vehicle classes such as the Cup racing cars or the GT3 fraction. Fans can therefore look forward to an extremely varied event in which David competes against Goliath, works teams and privateers get involved and a whole week of top-class motorsport is guaranteed. The first fascinating vehicles have already been confirmed for the classic: Ford has announced its return to the Nordschleife and will be sending a sensational GT3 into the race.

Top qualifying: revised mode

Particularly exciting for experts: the mode for the qualifying for the best grid positions has been revised for 2025. The two-part Top Qualifying will become a single showdown in which the fastest Pro and Pro-Am teams from the SP9 class (GT3 cars) are eligible. A maximum of 40 per cent of the cars starting there will be allocated places in the play-off for the 24h pole. As usual, first tickets for the top qualifying will be allocated on the basis of performances in the previous NLS races. In the 24h Qualifiers, both races of which are also part of the NLS, additional starting places will be allocated, so that up to 16 teams will have already secured their participation before the 24h weekend.

The 24h will then go all out: the remaining places will be allocated to the fastest teams in the two qualifying sessions on Thursday. Before the evening qualifying (Q2), there will even be 15 minutes exclusively for the teams that have not yet qualified, giving them the chance of a flying lap. The two Thursday sessions will thus be upgraded once again. After the top qualifying session on Friday afternoon, the third and final qualifying session will be dedicated to the privateers and amateur racers. For them, it’s still about the chance to secure an optimal grid position.
