The curtain rises on the 53rd edition of the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring from 19 to 22 June 2025: The opening round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) on the penultimate weekend in March was the overture to an epic in many acts on the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife. This year, the strongest GT3 teams, drivers and makes will battle it out for the coveted 24h winner’s trophy on the world’s longest race track, which is over 25 kilometres long. Highlights are the first act at the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers (24/25 May) and, of course, the Furioso finale at the actual 24h Nürburgring, which is likely to be even more colourful and diverse than before. In addition to the established teams from the German premium manufacturers Audi, BMW, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche, teams with GT3s from Aston Martin, Ferrari, Ford and Lamborghini will be making their presence felt this year. The action at the season opener shows: The supposed ‘exotics’ and ‘underdogs’ are fully in tune with the music and will have a say in the allocation of the top positions. If you would like to secure your box seat for this spectacle, you can do so now. Pre-sales are now underway and can be found here on www.24h-rennen.de.

At the NLS season opener, a defending champion was in the spotlight. Frank Stippler secured pole position in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 from Juta Racing and showed what the somewhat older GT from Ingolstadt is still capable of. He led a colourful field into the warm-up lap before the start: Eight different brands occupied the top ten positions in the first NLS qualifying session of the season. For example, the Walkenhorst-Aston Martin GT3 started the race alongside Stippler, followed by the McLaren 720S GT3 from Dörr Motorsport and the Ferrari 296 GT3 from Kondo Racing / Rinaldi on rows two and three. Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG, BMW and Porsche lined up behind them – a real celebration of what are currently the most beautiful sports cars. In the race, it was the top dogs who set the tone: Porsche landed a clean four-way win, with the two Falken 911s finishing ahead of the Manthey team’s ‘Grello’ and the 911 GT3R from Dinamic GT.

And of course, the season opener was also extremely worth seeing in other respects: 22 vehicle classes, some of them fiercely contested, were on show, with everything from production cars to thoroughbred racing cars represented. A good omen for an exciting season in amateur and popular sport as well – the fans agreed and provided a great backdrop for this first show race.

Old and new highlights for visitors
Even though there are three months between the start of the Nordschleife season at the end of March and the season highlight at the 24h Nürburgring, fans can already secure their personal tickets now. New this year: Tickets will also be available online in the 24h ticket shop throughout the event weekend. You can also use the electronic ticket on your mobile phone to gain admission around the track. Another new feature for visitors is the opportunity to secure a parking space in advance: Appropriate contingents are available in car park D9 (near Nürburg), for which a continuous parking authorisation can then be purchased from Thursday to Sunday.
And the journey to the Ring is worthwhile on all these days! Because from Corpus Christi Thursday (19 June) you will experience a huge programme on the longest race track in the world. In addition to the 24h, the performance test of the RCN (Thursday) and the 24h Classic race (Saturday) will also provide plenty of drama. On the Grand Prix circuit, there will be entertaining hours with the races of the Touring Car Legend as well as the Cup and Touring Car Trophy.
Away from the racing programme, highlights such as the traditional Adenauer Racing Day on Wednesday will provide plenty of entertainment. Of course, the already legendary Falken Drift Show on Friday evening will also be part of the programme again, taking place in the Müllenbach loop at the same time as the big autograph session and the pit walk at the start and finish.
