Book Marks MANTHEY Racing’s 30th Anniversary
Since the Tuesday ahead of the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, the book “Three decades. One legacy. Endless passion.” celebrating Manthey Racing’s 30th anniversary has been available.
Featuring large-format photography and texts in both German and English, the book takes readers through the history of a team that is more closely associated with the Nürburgring and the Nordschleife than almost any other in motorsport. Across more than 200 images, it traces the journey from the early days around founder Olaf Manthey and the team’s move to the Nordschleife through to its entry into the American IMSA series in 2026. The book also highlights the team’s activities beyond the racetrack, its partnership with Porsche, and its legendary successes on circuits around the world.
The book will be officially presented on Friday, 15 May 2026, at 3:00 p.m. on the Ringboulevard, together with founder Olaf Manthey and the current management team.

Schnitzelalm Racing Gives Fans a Chance to ‘Ride Along’
SR Motorsport, better known as Team Schnitzelalm Racing, is committed to promoting young motorsport talent. To support this goal, the team established the association “SR Motorsport Young Driver e.V.” earlier this year at the initiative of team principal Thomas Angerer. “This non-profit association is dedicated to supporting young drivers in German motorsport. The talents we support must be driven by real passion for what they do and commit three years of their lives to us – that is what we, as a team, expect from every driver. We are currently building a community with a range of membership options, starting with a special campaign at this race. Every motorsport fan can purchase a one-year membership for an affordable contribution of €99. In return, they can sign the roof of our Mercedes-AMG GT3 #11 and, in that way, ‘ride along’ with us in the race.”
